ABOUT ME

Ian is an Emmy Nominated, Los Angeles based, Director of Photography, and licensed Drone Pilot (Part 107). He has over twenty years experience, shooting a wide variety of Emmy Award winning projects all over the world.  His work has taken him to over seventy countries from the mountains of Mongolia to the Amazon Rainforest.

His work has been seen on numerous networks including  HBO, HGTV, FOOD NETWORK, TRAVEL CHANNEL, NBC, CBS, PBS, DISCOVERY, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, BRAVO, MTV, VHI, OWN and many more.

He has filmed for some of the biggest brands in the world including MICROSOFT, FACEBOOK, MCDONALDS, FORD, TOYOTA, RAM TRUCKS, SONY, CRYSTAL GEYSER, NASA, HOUZZ, PALM PILOT and more.

​

He started out years ago filming bands for Tour Films, Music Videos and Concert films.  Some of the bands that he has filmed include The Beastie Boys, Janes Addiction, Wu Tang Clan, Mos Def, Franz Ferdinand, The Chemical Brothers, Kaskade, The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, The Roots, The White Stripes, Duran Duran, Maroon 5, Beck, Foo Fighters, Cypress Hill, Papa Roach and hundreds more.

Ian has filmed documentary, reality, sports, makeover, design, food, travel, music videos, concert films, corporate, web, commercials and even a feature film in Cuba.

Ian is a certified Steadicam Operator, Gimbal Operator, Jib Operator, Licensed Drone Pilot, and PADI certified Scuba Diver.

​

He is comfortable working as a one man band, or with a large film crew.  He is a hard worker, strong leader, and he brings a fun, and positive energy to every set that he works on.

He has a current passport, is vaccinated, and is prepared to travel anywhere in the world that your project requires.
