ABOUT ME

Ian is an Emmy-Nominated Los Angeles-based Director of Photography and licensed/insured ($2M) Drone Pilot (Part 107). He has over twenty years of experience shooting various Emmy-Award winning projects worldwide.  His work has taken him to over seventy countries, filming everything from Eagle hunters in Mongolia and electric eels in the Amazon to war zones in Ukraine and a feature film in Cuba.

 

His work has aired on numerous networks, including  NETFLIX, HBO, HGTV, FOOD NETWORK, TRAVEL CHANNEL, NBC, CBS, PBS, DISCOVERY, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, BRAVO, MTV, VHI, OWN, and many more.  

 

He has filmed for some of the biggest brands in the world, including MICROSOFT, FACEBOOK, MCDONALDS, FORD, TOYOTA, RAM TRUCKS, SONY, CRYSTAL GEYSER, NASA, HOUZZ, PALM PILOT, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, and more.

 

He started years ago filming bands for Tour Films, Music Videos, and Concert films.  Some of the bands that he has filmed include The Beastie Boys, Jane Addiction, Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, Franz Ferdinand, The Chemical Brothers, Kaskade, The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, The Roots, The White Stripes, Duran Duran, Maroon 5, Beck, Foo Fighters, Cypress Hill, Papa Roach and many more.

 

Ian has filmed documentaries, reality, sports, makeovers, design, food, travel, music videos, concert films, corporate, web, commercials, and even feature film in Cuba.

 

Ian is a certified Steadicam Operator, Gimbal Operator, Jib Operator, Licensed Drone Pilot, and PADI certified Scuba Diver.

 

He has a current passport and is prepared to travel anywhere in the world that your project requires.
